Delete Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your My Gym Body account and associated cloud data. You do not need to have My Gym Body installed to make a request.

How to request deletion

To request deletion, email our My Gym Body support team. Preferably send the request from the email address associated with your My Gym Body account. If you use another address, include the email address associated with your account.

Request Account Deletion

My Gym Body deletion requests are currently handled through mygymbody.review@gmail.com.

We may need to reasonably verify account ownership before completing a deletion request. Never send your password, authentication tokens, or payment-card information.

What Will Be Deleted

Once a valid account-deletion request is completed, account-associated My Gym Body cloud data will be deleted, including where applicable:

  • Your Firebase Authentication account.
  • Profile and account-associated information.
  • Cloud-stored app settings and preferences.
  • Weight records and body measurements.
  • Photo-set metadata and cloud-backed progress photos.
  • Posing and custom photo-set information.
  • Contest Prep information.
  • Cloud backup and synchronization data.
  • Other account-associated My Gym Body data stored by the developer.
  • Cloud-backed videos, where this feature is available and used.

Local Device Data

Data stored only on your device may remain on that device after the cloud/account deletion request is processed. You can remove local-only app data by deleting supported records inside My Gym Body, clearing the app's data, or uninstalling the app.

Information That May Be Retained

Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or accounting or transaction records where required. Retained information will not remain available as an active My Gym Body account.

Google Play Subscriptions

Deleting a My Gym Body account does not necessarily cancel an active Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Google Play:

Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → My Gym Body → Cancel subscription

My Gym Body cannot cancel a Google Play subscription on your behalf through this request process.

Processing Time

We aim to complete verified account-deletion requests within 30 days.
